If you don't like sappy-ness, I suggest you leave now. Not to be rude, but I am sappy romantic and I love my hubby, dangit!! LOL!!!

Hard to believe its been 3 amazing years of wedded bliss. I still feel like we are newlyweds. Honestly, I hope that feeling never fades.

I mean it completely when I have truly enjoyed every minute being a wife to Shannon Potter. Like any other normal couple, we have had our ups and downs, but our love for each other has never once wavered.

I am proud of my gorgeous, sweet hubby and I am honored God chose me to be his wife.

Happy Anniversary babe!!!

This is us then...
This is us now :)

Vegas baby!!!

So, hubs and I did our annual Vegas trip this summer.

Hubs actually doesn't totally care for Vegas. I think a lot of it is due to the heat (108+ everytime we go) and he pouts that he can't gamble as much as the big boys (sorry, we can't spend our savings, lol, we need to buy a house). However, it IS always fun when we go!

The day before we left, we went to SF to use some groupons that were about to expire. We had a DELICIOUS meal in Little Italy, then did a Chinese Ghost Tour after. The tour was actually super neat, as we learned a TON about Chinatown and the history of it as well.

Here's hubs about to enjoy our yummy dessert =)
Us pretending to be "scared" to go on our ghost tour, LOL

We then stayed with my friend Vanessa, and flew out of Oakland the next morning. Usually, our Vegas trips are filled to the brim with activities, like shows (cirque du solei), excursions (hello Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam!), exhibitions (like the mob experience), to name a few.

This trip was more low key and it couldn't have been better.
When we were in Vegas, we stayed at Planet Hollywood (LOVED IT) and spent a lot of time lounging poolside (soooo fun), spent time eating at yummy restaurants, and sampling the nightlife :). We also splurged and saw another Cirque Du Solei show, Beatles Love, which was beyond incredible.

This vacation was amazing and I am very thankful that hubs and I are able to do such fun vacations like these. =)

Some of my favorite pics:

The view from our room, AMAZING!

In the car =)
Enjoying night time!

In front of the fountains, turned out cool!

Wasn't sure what to title this post, so random letters will do for now.

Holy moses! It sure has been awhile since I posted which was when, maybe in May or June?? Crud...

To my faithful three readers, this is what has been happening in Potter-land. I plan to catch up on 1 or 2 of these things below in separate posts, but let's briefly recap for now:

1. Summer was truly grand. I was a bit of a lazy bum, but summer was fabulous!

2. We went on an EPIC vacay to Vegas. It was so fun! Happy to report we will be heading back in December for a dear friend is celebrating her "dirty thirty" there. YEE HAW!!!

3. School started July 30th and it has been over a month. I'm teaching 2nd grade and I adore it. I have the best class ever. My job is fantastic and I thank God profusely everyday for this job.

4. No kids.  Still happy about that. I know, it sounds negative, but I don't mean to be. I'm still not ready, end of story. We got a funny, cryptic fortune in our fortune cookie in Vegas (of all places):
Anywho, it was quite funny.  I know hub would rather have a kid like now, but I am enjoying every second with my hubby of just being us two. I hear life changes when a kid comes. Not sure if I want that change quite yet. It will happen...someday.

5. Hub celebrated his "29th" birthday (won't reveal his true age, lol!). I am grateful for this gorgeous, handsome man.

6. In 13 glorious days, my sweet hub and I will be celebrating 3 years of marriage. How the heck did it go so fast???

Yes, I know. I look psycho.

7. SOme serious house hunting will be starting in the next month or two. We have been waiting it out (and saving) since there is ZERO inventory and the competition is beyond fierce. Trying to not stress, as God is in control. He has the perfect house for us.

Again, to my little group of readers, I promise to update more. No excuses!!
